Q: What is Operation: MATH?
A: Operation: MATH is a voluntary summer mathematics program designed to
provide individualized practice to meet the needs of each student.  You receive
math assignments via email.  

Q: Is this a "gifted" program or a "remediation" program?
A: This program is for everyone!  You may practice math at any level.

Q: Does the program have due dates?
A: No.  You may complete one assignment or 100 assignments.  I recommend
at least one assignment per week.

Q: Is this program required?
A: No.  This program is voluntary.

Q: How much does this cost?
A: This program is offered to you free of charge.  

Q: How will I get my assignments?
A: Assignment are delivered electronically in PDF format via email attachment.

Q: Will I get school credit for participating in Operation: MATH?
A: No.  However, the joy you feel from the knowledge you've gained will be
priceless!

Q: Are the in-person summer help sessions required?
A: No.  You are not required to attend any of the in-person help sessions.

Q: What if I sign-up and then decide I don't want to do it?
A: No problem.  Please send us an email to let us know.

Q: What's the deadline for signing-up?
A: You may enroll at any time while the program is running.

Q: When does the program end?
A:  It officially ends on August 15th.

Q: What are the grade/ability levels does this program serve?
A: We can accommodate grade/ability levels from Grade 5 and up.

Q:  If I'm having trouble in a specific area like fractions or solving equations,
could you custom design assignments for me?
A: Yes!  Just let us know what you'd like and we can make it happen.

Q: Will/can I be taught an entirely new subject such as Algebra?
A: This summer program is designed to reinforce existing skills and help fill-in
gaps to improve success in future math classes.  It is most appropriate to learn
a large set of new skills during the regular school year.
